October 11, 2012Karen A Smith
While these offerings meet the requirements (Florida Board approved) in ethics and boundary issues for Florida licensed social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors and nurses, the courses are applicable to all mental health professionals in any state. Each course is a 3 CE offering invites learners to consider a different aspect of boundaries in ethical behavior. Ethical Decision Making, Confidentiality and Multiple Relationships. Learners can meet state license renewal requirements and have a variety in content. These ethics courses meet the ethics training requirements for all states that require a three hour course and can be used in combination with our other ethics courses for states requiring more than three credits in ethics education. Florida psychologists are able to take our ethics and statutes courses with the same subtopics described above. Psychologists from other states should take our ethics and boundary issues option without the Florida statute credit. All our courses are approved for psychologists through our approved sponsor status with the APA. Visit our approvals page for detailed information about who approves our credits.
