Our online offerings meet the content requirements for licensure in most states and the material is self-paced. Once you have logged into your account, anytime 24 hours a day, study guides and exams can be printed, viewed on your computer or downloaded (saved) so that you can complete the material without being connected to the Internet. Once an exam has been completed, our online system immediately scores the test and your certificate can be printed out instantaneously. You can review any missed questions along with the correct answers and print out duplicate certificates for all completed online courses, at anytime, by logging into your account page.
Like our home study offerings, all study guides are bolded and underlined to emphasize important content, have been developed and/or approved by our continuing education director, are clearly laid out and easy to follow. So that you can “get-the-feel” of how to complete an online course, a free, non-credit, demonstration course is offered in the online course section. In addition, since most questions can be answered in our Help Topics and Frequently Asked Questions section, you will find a link to these help topics, should you ever need them, when you log-in to your online account.
PURCHASING AN ONLINE COURSE
To order any of our available online course offerings, simply click on the “online courses” button located to the left hand side of each page, scroll through the alphabetical listing or use the search box located at the top of the page. In addition to searching by course title you can also search by content area. If you use the content area search feature you will be able to find all the courses we offer, relating to that particular content area, conveniently displayed on the same page.
Once you have chosen a course click the “add to cart” button located to the right hand side of each course title and then you will be able to view what has been added to the shopping cart. If you wish to purchase another online course, repeat the process by clicking the “online courses” button again and adding the next course/s to the shopping cart. Once you have reviewed what has been placed in your shopping cart, and you find it to be correct, you may proceed to checkout by clicking on either of the “proceed to checkout” buttons located on both the top and bottom of the shopping cart page. If you wish to delete a course from the shopping cart, click on the trashcan icon located on the right hand side of each shopping cart item.
Now, all you do is enter your personal information and then proceed to our payment options page where you may choose to pay by either credit card or check. If paying by credit card, once the system has processed your credit card information you will be emailed a credit card receipt and online course confirmation.
You may begin your online course immediately, by logging into your account, or simply return at a later time. If paying by check access to your online course will be granted once we have received your payment. To access your course, at any time, enter the email address you registered with into the “username box and the password you created into the “password” box. Your online courses will be accessed by clicking on the “my account” button located at the top of the home page and entering your username and password when prompted to do so.
