This completely NEW!!! course will overview some current topics of the professional conversation on this topic including; incidence and prevalence information, historical perspective regarding legislative efforts to intervene on domestic violence in the US, and the consequences of these legislative actions. Implications for both hererosexual and same-sex couples are discussed.
Purpose: This offering is developed to provide content update in domestic violence issues. Domestic violence has been identified by many states as an under identified and under assessed problem, it is the intent of this offering to provide information that will permit effective and early identification and assessment of domestic violence problems.
